When it comes to the dopest drip, Travis Scott is the man of the situation and in order to celebrate his birthday as the true king of Houston. The rapper is launching his latest collaboration with Jordan Brand starring Detroit Pistons legend Richard “Rip” Hamilton and the release of a new item from Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki”.

April 30th, 2021 Travis Scott launches for his 29th birthday the new Air Jordan 6 British Khaki designed by Tinker Hatfield with a bunch of new items. If it was not enough, mate restates his sense of style by tapping swingman and NBA Legend Richard Rip Hamilton to inspire the new Jordan drop.

The 3x NBA All-Star’s, “Rip” is not only known for his slender frame and bold game but also for his influence in the sneakers culture during his impressive 14 years career. Back in the ‘90s and 2000s, his iconic signature game-day trademark mask set the sports culture on fire (he fractured his nose twice during the 03-04 NBA Season, Ed.). In order to pay tributes to his favorite heroes H-town native Travis Scott previously summoned Randy Moss, Mick Foley, and reached out to Richard Hamilton on the new Jordan Brand campaign video released on April 28th on Instagram.

In the video, “Rip” gazes up in an isolated basket court in the middle of the desert, ready to shoot his iconic free throw while dressed in the latest Travis Scott x Jordan partnership apparel with a hoodie, vest, pants, and the new British Khaki Air Jordan 6s on feet. Of course, Richard Hamilton straps on the occasion, the unforgettable clear face mask that followed him during the rest of his basketball career.

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 British Khaki launch is a perfect fit regarding the 30th anniversary of the model. As always Travis Scott knows exactly what is doing and how to create a creative lookout. The suede sneaker is dope, with some the perfect mix between beige and hints of red veering on the sneaker’s details. A detail is making the difference on this sneaker: the added pocket on the outside that gives a military vibe to the shoe. In addition to this amazing creation signed by talented drawer Tinker Hatfield, a bunch of new items is released as t-shirts, pants, shorts, and hoodies.

The Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki” and the Jordan Brand x Travis Scott collection are now available, while here you can watch our interview with Legend Rip Hamilton talking of Michael Jordan’s influence.
